Frequently asked questions

Is the 7-day free trial really free, with no card required?

Yes. You can create one child profile and use the full trial content pool - practice questions, sample lessons, and a mini-mock - for 7 days without entering any payment details.

What happens when the trial ends?

Your dashboard stays visible, read-only, behind a friendly paywall. Nothing is deleted - upgrade at any time to pick up exactly where your child left off.

What's the difference between the annual and monthly plans?

Annual is £99/year, auto-renewing, and the better value overall. Monthly is £9.99/month with a 12-month minimum term - cancelling early stops future billing at the end of that term rather than immediately. Both include up to 3 child profiles.

Can I cancel and get a refund?

Yes. UK consumers have a 14-day statutory cooling-off period from the date of purchase, during which you can cancel for a full refund. After that, cancellation is self-serve from your billing page and stops future renewal.

Which exam boards does BrightEleven cover?

Question style follows GL Assessment conventions, which underpin most UK 11+ regional tests including the Kent Test. We're expanding regional and CEM-style coverage as the content bank grows.

How is my child's data kept private?

We only ever collect a first name, year group, avatar choice, and their own learning data - no surname, no date of birth. There's no advertising, no third-party tracking, and no behavioural profiling on any child-facing screen. See our child privacy notice for the full plain-English explanation.

Can my child chat with other children or see a leaderboard?

No. BrightEleven has no chat, no social features, and no cross-family leaderboards by design - your child only ever competes against their own past progress.

How many children can I add to one account?

Up to 3 child profiles are included on every plan, each with their own PIN, progress, and journey map.
