Frequently asked questions
Is BrightEleven really free right now, with no card required?
Yes. We're in closed beta, so paid plans aren't open yet - every family gets full access completely free, for every child profile, no payment details needed anywhere. Free access runs until 30 September 2026.
What happens after 30 September 2026?
Your dashboard stays visible, read-only, behind a friendly paywall - nothing is deleted. Paid plans (from £7.99/month or £49.99/year) will open before then, and we'll email you the moment they do so you can pick up exactly where your child left off.
What will the annual and monthly plans cost?
Annual will be £49.99/year, auto-renewing, and the better value overall. Monthly will be £7.99/month. Both will cancel any time with no minimum term, and both include up to 3 child profiles - not open for purchase yet, see above.
Can I cancel and get a refund once paid plans open?
Yes. UK consumers have a 14-day statutory cooling-off period from the date of purchase, during which you can cancel for a full refund. After that, cancellation will be self-serve from your billing page and stop future renewal.
Which exam boards does BrightEleven cover?
Question style follows GL Assessment conventions, which underpin most UK 11+ regional tests including the Kent Test. We're expanding regional and CEM-style coverage as the content bank grows.
How is my child's data kept private?
We only ever collect a first name, avatar choice, and their own learning data - no surname, no date of birth, no year group. There's no advertising, no third-party tracking, and no behavioural profiling on any child-facing screen. See our child privacy notice for the full plain-English explanation.
Can my child chat with other children or see a leaderboard?
No. BrightEleven has no chat, no social features, and no cross-family leaderboards by design - your child only ever competes against their own past progress.
How many children can I add to one account?
Up to 3 child profiles are included on every plan, each with their own PIN, progress, and rewards.
